The equestrian statue of Chinggis Khaan was built for occasion of the eight-hundredth anniversary of the foundation of the Mongolian Empire, in honour of its founder, Chinggis Khaan. This huge stainless steel statue weighs 250 tons and is 40 m high, it's the highest statue representing a man on a horseback in the world. It's located 54 km from Ulaanbaatar, on the banks of the Tuul River, in the place called Tsonjin Boldog. “Chinghis Khaan” complex statue.

Gobi Desert is the largest desert in Asia and fifth largest in the world. The desert stretches in two countries territory. Gobi holds the most important archeological place where first discovered Dinosaurs laid eggs. Gobi, which hid the dinosaur footprints until this time, came into the world attention this way.

Eight lakes of varying size are located in the Khangai mountain range in central Mongolia, these mountains have formed from the volcanic eruptions that have occurred throughout the ages. The names of the lakes are Shireet, Khaliut, Bugat, Khaya, Duruu, Onon, Khuis, and Bayan-uul. These lakes are 2700m-3165m above sea level. The distance between the lakes rages from 500m to 3 km. The biggest lake is called lake Shireet. These lakes are surrounded by Siberian pines and a Siberian larch forest. The mountains around these lakes are connected by a flat area that is made up of volcanic stone. Around this area, there are a few volcanic craters. These lakes were created when the Khanbayan volcano erupted behind the Khangai mountain range, and its lava thickened and hardened, blocking the Tsagaan-azragariver.

Day1. Pick up and Chinggis Khaan equestrian statue
Pick up from your hotel or airport, drive to Chinggis Khaan equestrian statue. Head to Mongol equestrian travels base camp and horse riding for half day.
Day2. Start jeep adventure to Gobi
In the morning, we will start our jeep adventure to Mongolian famous Gobi desert. On our way we will see the White stupa. Then keep driving until reach Yol valley.
Day3. Khongor sand dunes
After breakfast we will drive to Khongor sand dunes. And we will ride a camel just next to the dunes. Khongor sand dune is one of the largest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. Rising as high 200 m, the dunes are 7-8 km wide and about 180 km long. The dunes rise up between a spur of the Altai mountains to the south, and springs and oases on the north side with lush green. Climbing the dunes is breathtaking, not only for the view at the top, the sand dunes makes a singing sound while you climb.
Day4. Bayanzag (Flamming Cliffs )
We will drive to the Bayanzag known as a Flamming Cliffs to the world. We will see the ancient red rock creation, Bayanzag formed 60-70 million years ago, famous as Flamming Cliffs named by Roy Andrew Chapman, an American explorer who visited Mongolia in 1920s. The wonderful red Bayanzag cliffs have dinosaur fossils, eggs and bones all over the place and neighbored by bushy Saxual tree forests. Drive from Flaming cliffs to Ongi monastery.
Day5. Ongi monastery
In the morning we will explore Ongi monastery. It is located in Saihan-Ovoo soum of Dundgovi province. One of the biggest monasteries in Mongolia, Ongi was founded in 1660 and consisted of two temple complexes on the North and South banks of the river Ongi. At its heyday, Ongi monastery grounds housed around 30 temples, 4 big Buddhism universities and over 1000 monks at a time. Drive Ongi monastery to Orkhon water fall.
Day6. Start horse riding to the 8 lakes
this day we will start horse riding to the 8 lakes with yaks. The yak will carry our equipments, foods and tents. It will be very interesting. Overnight in tent.
Day7. Reach 8 lakes
This day we will pass most difficult part of our way. There is high rocky mountain but horses and yaks already knows the way and they are really good. You will be proud of them. And after this mountain we will be camping next to the first beautiful lake. Overnight in tent.
Day8. Explore 8 lakes
It's time to see the famous 8 lakes. We will see the lakes one by one and gallope between the lakes.
Day9. Orkhon waterfall
We will ride back to the family and on our way we will see the Ulaan tsutgalan waterfall. Orkhon waterfall, also called Ulaan Tsutgalan, is one of the best sights in central Mongolia. About 25m downstream from the waterfall you can climb down to the bottom of the gorge; 22m deep and dotted with pine trees. Approximately 20.000 years ago, the waterfall was formed due to earthquake and merged from volcanic eruptions.
Day10. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and Khustai NP
This is our last day. We will head back to Ulaanbaatar. On our way we will visit to Khustai national park. See the Mongolian wild horses Takhi, also called Przewalski horses, and wildlife. We will go hiking in the national park.
