This was my first trip with Nomad Equestrian Stable and I am most satisfied to say that it lived up to my very high expectations.
I booked ‘Horse trekking tour to Kagiin Khar Lake’ and ‘Living with nomadic family’ – it was marvellous! The expert guide who accompanied me was very
informative, professional and thoughtful, accommodation was comfortable (sleeping in a tent and a ger) and traditional cuisine was delicious
(airag, milk tea, cream, yogurt…). The combination of horse riding through breath taking nature and getting to know Mongol culture while
living with a nomadic family was a mesmerising experience I shall never forget!
The family I was staying with was extremely hospitable, engaging and friendly.
They have introduced me to the Mongol way of life – from taking care of the horses, milking a cow, making butter and yoghurt, shooting bow and arrow,
preparing meals, talking about Mongol history and traditions, to galloping trough the endless steppe and forming a special bond with the horses.
It was an unforgettable journey. Mongolia is an incredible country and Nomad Equestrian Stable is doing a superb job at introducing it to the
visitors in all its authenticity and awe-inspiring beauty.
